The food, service, view & ambiance were amazing! We got oysters, calamari, espresso martinis & fish and chips. Everything was fresh and delicious! Will definitely be sure to stop here again next time I'm in the area. Theres also a super dock attached to the restaurant for beautiful photos after your meal!

Highly recommend this place in many ways. First the restaurant is so cute and amazing. Dog friendly patio/pier. They have a pet friendly beach next door. The clam chowder was hands down my favorite along with the bbq oysters. Disappointed by the fish and chips. Service was great, the views are breathtaking on a warm clear day. The smore dessert needed to be a little warmer. The chocolate and graham cracker crust was so cold from the fridge. The cottages were absolutely beautiful. I loved staying there and can't wait to come back. I love they are pet friendly. Very spacious and cozy, can't wait to come back during winter to light the fire place inside. Or use the fire pit next to the restaurant. The staff was amazing by far exceeded My expectations all around.

First time here today. We were weirded by the ordering format where we had to scan to order but we said, whatever let's give it a shot because the menu looked amazing. Really cute place and absolutely delicious food. We ordered the cheeseburger and fish and chips. Fries were perfectly crispy. Everything we ate was so good! For dessert we ordered the soft serve ice cream in cones. Soooo so good. Think maybe they're short staffed or figuring things out. I don't think it's a place for folks that need/want constant table service (which we don't mind). Overall great experience, looking forward to coming back many more times and telling friends to go too. Thank you to the bartender and FOH staff for being really sweet and to the BOH for cooking delicious foods and having it come out in less than 30minutes. We were so hungry and this truly hit the spot. 10/10!

First time here with a friend. Food was delicious. My friend ordered the clam chowder and one entree just for me, NICK'S COVE CIOPPINO. The atmosphere was great. I guess it really depends who you're with. I enjoyed it a lot. However, my friend said he was over charged. Paid double. I hope he can dispute the charge

Came in right when it opened and it's scan the QR code on the table, sit wherever you like type of situation. Front hostess was friendly as well as the staff. Had clam chowder which was not as thick as I would like, fries with eyes - deliciously crunchy, and calamari done right. We also had our first set of oysters for the day and it was buttery and fresh. Had outdoor seating too and has a nice view of the bay.

As my wife and I were driving up Highway 1 from the Bay Area, headed back to our little cabin rental in Mendocino, we couldn't decide what to do for dinner. We eventually settled at stopping at the next restaurant we came across - and, boy, were we lucky it was Nick's! The service was friendly and prompt, the views were great, and the food was delicious! These were some of the better fish and chips I've ever had, while my wife's lobster roll was a treat! We weren't wild about the house potato chips, but the fries were amazing, as was the baguette that came with our starter of clam chowder (also tasty). For desert, I had a strawberry pound cake, which was very good, and my wife had a very fun, very creative S'Mores tart (it really did taste like an elevated campfire treat!). We would stop here again in a heartbeat. Do be aware, it's closer to Bay Area pricing (not a surprise, since it was only about 90 minutes out of San Francisco) - but the quality was worth the price!

**UPDATE!!** The manager asked us to give them a second chance, so we came back tonight and wow!! It was a totally different experience from when I came in February. I honestly now believe the first time we came to eat at Nick's, it was super busy and understaffed, hence the bad experience. This time, a server attended to us and was super polite. Drinks were delivered promptly, and the oysters arrived fresh and quickly. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was on top of everything. I manage a small business, so I understand we all have bad days. I'm glad I gave this place a second try. Thank you Nick's Cove!
